Google is continuously supporting business owners to stay touched with their customers during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease) situation. Google recently brought a new feature to let customers know if any business provides online services through its Google My Business profile.
When any business updates its service availability attributes at Google My Business, people will see the business offers online services like classes, appointments, or estimates. If the business has an appointment URL, it can show the link in the Google My Business profile also.
If the customers can visit the physical location of your business, set the attribute "Are you offering onsite services?" to Yes.
If the customers can attend real-time appointments with your business online, set the attribute "Are you offering online appointments?" to Yes.
After you set the above attributes up, the people will see "Online appointments" and "On-site services" features in your business profile when they search for your business name in Google. If anyone searches "Blueliner Marketing New Jersey" in Google, he/she may see the service availability attributes "Online appointments" and "On-site services" in the Google My Business profile of Blueliner as like the image below. Here the "Online appointments" and "On-site services" features are highlighted with yellow color.
If a business has an appointment link, there is a box under this attribute "Are you offering online appointments?" to put the appointment link.
If any business would like customers to book its services directly on Google without having to go to another website, the business can choose one of Google's supported scheduling providers to receive bookings through Google My Business. They can use the booking tab in Google My Business to view the booking history of their business listings for bookings that came in through Reserve with Google. Please note, If you don't see the Bookings tab in your Google My Business account, then bookings aren't an available option for your business category or region.
